The Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment for Young Business Leaders was launched by His Highness General Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and UAE Minister of Defense. It is an initiative of the Dubai Development and Investment Authority and aims to support the business initiatives of young UAE nationals and transform them into profit making ventures.

To aid with the entrepreneurial development of UAE nationals, The Sheikh Mohammed Establishment for Young Business Leaders (SME) has a division focused on the development of franchises within the UAE.
